Spooky Succulent Virtual Mini Garden Class

Spooky Succulent Virtual Mini Garden Class

Fossil Creek Nursery, located on South College Avenue, in Fort Collins is a booming nursery, selling trees, shrubs, and plants all year-round. Their knowledgeable staff assists customers daily with anything from teaching them how to wrap a tree, the type of soil to use for different plants, plant education, and more. As a part of this education, Fossil Creek Nursery offers classes to the community to teach customers how to care for plants while making a fun craft.

With the loom of the pandemic and their busy summer season, all classes had to be put on hold. With events still up in the air and in order to be cautious, Fossil Creek Nursery came up with the idea to hold a Spooky Succulent Virtual Mini Garden Class.

Class goers were instructed to purchase their ticket then stop by the nursery to pick up their at home plant kits including a pot, dirt, succulents, and décor. They followed up by communicating by email with their class attendees and sharing a zoom link to attend the virtual mini garden class.

It was a fun night for all as Doc, the plant guru, taught the class about choosing the correct pot, soil, and placement of their succulents to create a natural and sustainable living environment for their plants of choice. Add a googly eyeball, a rattling skeleton, or a slinky snake and, voilá, you have a spooky succulent mini garden! Fossil Creek Nursery will continue to navigate the pandemic and make sure their customers stay safe. Check out FossilCreekNursery.com for more information on upcoming classes.
